The Client
Husband and wife, Helen and David Hockney run Spyder Creative in Sittingbourne. They provide all types of signage and graphics for vehicles, shops, offices, events and much more.
Why did they move to Brisan?
They were recommended to Brisan as they were not receiving as much feedback and interaction from their old accountants as they would have liked. Probably the most common reason we talk to new businesses!
What did we do?
In a very short time Brisan:
- Overhauled their accounts, identifying a remedying issues
- Recommended they start using Xero, including training them to get the best out of it
- Made their accounts a lot clearer and helped them manage their P&L much better
- Took over their PAYE, making the whole process much simpler.
The results
Helen and David now find analysing their monthly accounts a lot easier, are able to chase debtors more effectively, and ensure their bills are paid on time.
Everything is streamlined and something they no longer have to spend a long time worrying about finances.
Brisan is always at the end of the phone and email when we encounter a problem or just have a query, and they proactively advise us on our day to day accountancy tasks, tax returns and HMRC responsibilities. We would not be without them and value our working relationship with them.
